Subtropolis

This is a fictional redesign made for a class. The goal of this project was to choose from a list of local businesses that most would consider boring and give one a new life. I chose to rebrand Subtropolis, an underground storage facility in Kansas City. This design brings a pop of white to match the natural limestone walls. I started by sketching around three different concepts and moved all 3 into Illustrator with color and font options. From there, I narrowed it down to one concept and finalized it with fonts, icons, and a grid system.
