Rock & Roll Zine

The goal for this project was to pick a topic that interests me and create a zine. It couldn’t exceed 8 pages of content and could only use 2 colors. I chose to make a zine describing the evolution of Rock & Roll. I brought an element of each sub-genre into it’s page and finished it off with a custom playlist with music from those eras. I started by researching and drafting up the body copy for my zine. I did my sketching in Procreate and moved it into illustrator to polish and separate it into my layers. The final step was printing it out on the Riso printer and making it into a booklet.
