Posters for Change

These are posters made for a class, not with the organization. The goal of this project was to choose an organization with a message and cause that I’m interested in and create 2 posters (Visual and Typographic). Additionally, I had to find a news article related to the cause and design an editorial image to accompany it. I chose the organization This is My Brave which encourages people speak out about their struggles with mental illnesses. The article I paired with it discussed medication and how it can be a lifeline for dealing with mental illnesses. The start of this project was focused on research, word lists, and sketching. From there, I digitized 5 of each poster in Illustrator and narrowed it to the final posters and editorial.
