Rogue's

Designing Brand Identity | Fall 2022

This is a fictional brand made for a class. For this project, I was given 3 random adjectives that I then had to use in the design for a new restaurant. My solution needed to include packaging, interior design, signage, and anything else I thought my restaurant would need. Using the words I got (Outlaw, Tacky, Americana), I created a classic ice cream parlor with a twist: it’s been taken over by a cheesy comic villain. I paired the minimal look of the ice cream parlor with brightly colored graffiti that translates into the food itself. I started sketching by taking putting every cliche that went along with my words onto paper. I separated them into piles and moved them into Illustrator to build a rough tool kit for my ideas. I narrowed it down to one idea, finalized it, and built out packaging and signage for my fake restaurant.
